15th January 2009 - Pumphouse Park - Binnaway

A new facility has been provided by the friendly residents of Binnaway. Located on the banks of the Castlereagh River, this level, grassy, well groomed park has a new ablution block with hot showers (not connected as yet), disabled toilets, plenty of taps around the perimeter, bins, shelter sheds, BBQ, and plenty of room for chapter meetings. The town has a supermarket, hotels, swimming pool, newsagent, and various other outlets that provide for travellers and the farming community. We recommend this as a great place to spend a few days to enjoy the casualness and hospitality of a friendly country town. You will be welcomed by the innovators of this park during your stay. A donation box is located in the front of the toilet block.
