1st February 2009 - Warrumbungle National Park - Coonabarabran

Blackman Campground at Warrumbungle National Park is 35k West of Coonabarabran and offers a great variety of walking tracks suitable for all types of fitness. Camp Blackman camping area is beside a creek and has hot showers, water, septic toilets, powered sites, plenty of shade and good sites to suit all types of camping. Unfortunately, the cost is high, particularly for those who do not have free entrance passes (E.g., NSW. Pensioners are entitles to free entrance passes all others must pay a daily entrance fee of $7.00 plus overnight camping fees of $10.00 per person). There is plenty of kangaroos and birdlife to make your stay enjoyable.
