3rd July 2006 - Cotters Reserve Camp Ground, Murrumbidgee River, 20k West of Canberra, ACT. Located on Tourist Route 5, this camping area has hot showers, hot water laundry tub and hot water camp kitchen facilities. Wood is provided for BBQ’s and electric BBQ’s are also provided. Campsites are well established with plenty of room and shade. Ample room for big rigs is available in a tarred area and car based camping is also provided. Fishing and swimming in the river is easily accessible and walking tracks of various distances are well defined. Using this camp site as a base, various attractions can be reached and include Canberra City, Cotter Dam, Deep Space Centre, Tidbinbilla, Woods Reserve, Mt. Stromlo Observatory & Corin Forest.

3rd July 2006 – Corin Forest, Corin Road, Tourist Route 5, Canberra ACT. Providing a bobsled slide, water slide, flying fox and snow play area, this year round mountain recreation area is well worth a visit. Meals are available in the restaurant.
