13th February 2006 - Diamond Head Campground - Crowdy Head National Park, N.S.W.

Diamond Head Campground, Crowdy Bay National Park, Located approximately 8k South of Laurieton via Diamond Head Road along 5k of dirt road, the camping area is manned by a permanent caretaker, who takes pride in his campground. The area is well maintained and a short walk from the camping area is a beautiful beach where swimming and fishing are popular. – From the campground, there are several walks and located nearby are Indian Head and Kylies camping grounds and picnic areas. A must is a trip to Kylies Cottage to have a look at the well preserved cottage. This is accessible from Diamond Head campground by following the cliff walk. Although very busy during holidays, plenty of camping sites are often available during the other times.
