28 September 2007 - Colombo Creek Ski Club Reserve - Riverina District, NSW

This man made oasis located on Coonong Road, South of Narrandera and North of Jerilderie, is in the middle of open grain fields and defies all logic. The man made lake is full of water and a boat ramp provides easy access to this vast waterway. Creek water is pumped up into a holding tank which provides water to the shower cubicle and septic tank toilets that are part of the reserve. A wood BBQ is set in the grassed area near tables and benches and is covered by a shade sail to provide protection from the sun. Camping is available on the mowed area beneath the shade of well established trees. Camping fees are requested, however, there is no honesty box to place the donation.
