Overlooking Lake Cargelligo is Deadmans Point, so named because of a drowning many years ago, where some shade is available in this sloping camp site well away from town. The composting toilet is a recent addition and a table and bins have been provided. Unfortunately, due to drought conditions, the lake was fairly low during our stay and dead Carp were littered along the edge of the lake. In the evening, a hundreds of Pelicans can be seen dining on fish. A return visit when the lake has recovered is on our list of places to return to when the drought ends
