21st November 2009 - Booberoi Weir - West of Condobolin

Located about 20k North East of Euabalong or 56k West of Condobolin, along Booberoi Road, the turn-off to the weir is opposite the Telstra Tower along a dirt track for about 1k until you come to about 50 metres before a bridge with a load limit of 2 Tonnes. Then turn left and proceed between the old pump houses to the level, well shaded camp site. A walk around the pump houses will give you an idea of the historical ways water was pumped out of the river using an old fire boiler. There are no facilities other than a rubbish bin at this site that we highly recommend for a quiet couple days of fishing and listening to the birds.
