17th November 2010 - Apsley (Falls) Campground - Oxley Wild Rivers National Park

Apsley (Falls) Gorge Campground - Oxley Wild Rivers National Park is located 146k West Wauchope and 20k East Walcha on the Oxley Highway. This is an excellent camping ground surrounded by large gum trees. The area has beautiful walks along well laid out walking tracks with lookouts provided. The falls themselves are best observed by crossing the river and walking around the opposite side of the gully. Other observation points give great views of the gorge and the falls. Spotless toilets, BBQ facilities and picnic areas are provided for both the day-tripper and the overnight camper.. Wood is also supplied and water is available. Top spot to visit and stay – We highly recommend this National Park Site
