18th November 2010 - Tia Falls Camp Ground - Oxley Wild Rivers National Park

Tia Falls Campground at Oxley Wild Rivers National Park is located 42k South East of Walcha and is reached by turning North off the Oxley Highway, 128k North West of Wauchope, 37k South East Of Walcha along 6k Dirt Road. Limited camping is available at Tia Falls camping ground. Some sites are very small and others are not level. There are several sites suitable for Caravans up to about 25ft... An excellent walk along the edge of the gorge takes you to a lookout point giving an excellent view of the falls and a further 200 meters along the track gives you access to a lookout overlooking the gorge. Look for soaring eagles at this point. Another longer walk is available for the fitter walker. Pit toilets, BBQ facilities and picnic areas are provided for both the day-tripper and the overnight camper. At the moment, camping is free. Another top spot to visit and stay.
