Located 12k South West of Blayney and16k North East of Mandurama along a short distance in on a sealed road, Carcoar Dam has grassy, shady sites overlooking the lake and wind farm. The toilets are septic and cold showers are provided. For water enthusiasts there is a boat ramp and fishing is permitted. Further along the road is a further area where electric BBQ’s are located in a shelter shed. Although windy at times, we found this camping area pleasant enough to spend a few days.
