3rd September 2011 - Burke & Wills Campground

Several campsites are located within the vicinity of the Darling River near the township of Menindee, South of Broken Hill. Burke & Wills Campground is adjacent to the river and has level, well shaded campsites. The facilities include a septic toilet, shelter shed, tables, several taps, fire places, easy access to the river and rubbish bins. The dirt road from Broken Hill / Menindee Road has deep corrugations are unavoidable. A great spot to spend some time so make sure you have plenty of provisions to last an extended stay
