Surrounded by hills, this picturesque camping by the stream is located only 4k North of Nundle on Bowling Alley Point Road. There are 2 designated camping areas on either side of Swamp Creek where it joins the Peel River. There are plenty of good level sites on the grassy banks and fireplaces, a shelter shed, rubbish bins and a windy loo are provided. If planning to stay, it is recommended that you bring firewood and drinking water. Water for washing is available from the crystal clear creek. The 2k of dirt road from Nundle is very good.
