20th April 2006 – Premer – This thriving metropolis of 50 people, 1 horse, 2 sheep, 5 dogs, 2 Geese (Security for the General Store), 1 pub and a general store is situated approximately 64k east of Coonabarabran and has a Lion’s Park on the edge of "town" that provides a camping area complete with hot showers, powered sites, water and septic toilets. A donation for the use of these facilities is asked and payable at either the pub where a good country meal is available for a low cost or the general store. Campers are requested to support the local pub and store. Bookings are not required for counter meals at the pub!!!! -
