5th May 2006 – Yeoval Showground - N.S.W.

5th May 2006 – Yeoval Showground – "The Greatest little town in the West" – Situated 40k South West Of Wellington and 69k North East of Parkes. This thriving metropolis of 297 inhabitants boasts a Bowling Club, (Good meals on Friday nights), a pub, a golf club ($2.00 per round) three "Supermarkets", Post Office, and several other thriving businesses. Camping is at the Showground where power is provided for a donation which is payable at the Green Grocer (adjacent to the chemist). President of the Showground Society (Alf Cantrell) has an office in this complex and is happy to receive any donation that you may offer. Toilets are of the septic variety and water is available from either a tank behind the pavilion (Suitable for drinking) or at the toilets (Not recommended for drinking). The golf course runs through the oval and has dirt greens. For those visiting Dubbo Zoo or any of the adjacent towns (Parkes, Peak Hill, Wellington) this location is recommended
